Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. New soap day. The "Don José" soap by Abbate Y La Mantia arrived yesterday so I used it today. Softer than the other AYLM soaps I have, it's more of a croap, softer and very easy to load. Wonderfully refreshing scent of coconut and bananas, and a nice menthol kick, perfect for hotter weather. Excellent lather built with the Riva Brushes HMW ST brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the 60's "Psycho Tech" and I finished with Czech & Speake "Cuba" after shave splash and cologne.

7.12.23, The Karve w/ B plate has become my respite in a new world of blood thinners; a gentle, comfortable 3 pass shave w/ Personna lab blue. During the early days of my return from the hospital there came a stark realization that I dodged a bullet, and it was apparent that ongoing purchase of consumable shave supplies is folly. So, 3017 it is! MdC and Epsilon are always top performers. A good beginning to a new day. We begin dog sitting today for a 3 year old Bernie-doodle named Sven. He loves our walks when the kids are gone. He's normally in a home with 3 growing girls of 8, 6 and 3 with all the excitement and activity that involves. Fun! Ciao for now.

Battle of the Henson razors
Blue Henson : medium aggressive
Black Henson: high aggressive.
For beginners definitely recommend the medium aggressive Henson, pretty much won't hardly nick you unless nlade needs changed. Either cuts or it doesn't if you don't maintain angle.

for me either my Constantine razor wire beard the aggressive wins if haven’t shaved for a couple days

Both razors have RK Blades
