I used to wear that all the time in my late teens and through my 20s. It is a great scent.

I have that one also and in the bottle it does smell very nice. The thing is it doesn’t seem to suit me too well - a cosmetician told me that men with swarthy colouring like myself need a spicy scent. Ah well!

Benjamin’s Bay Rum Splash

What a pity that this Irisch Moos stick was discontinued because it really is wonderful. I rarely use it because there’s no way to get it again. The scent is a delight, it lathers beautifully, it’s so slick, and it’s great in the skincare department. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing, and the Benjamin’s Bay Rum splash smells so nice - even my wife who hates most of my aftershaves and fragrances said this one is awesome. Three passes with the new Crystal gave me a tip top BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A later than normal shave today, but the results were stellar! Returned to my Valobra-era AoS shave soap. Unscented other than just the base itself, but with an incredible lather built with the Envy Shave badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and vintage Yardley of London "Musk" aftershave lotion. Really like this AS. From a quick Google search, it seems it's from the late 70's. Definitely has that Yardley scent DNA.
