Gorgeous shave today! Your 1151’s gold wash is super pretty compared to mine.

It’s too bad it’s exorbitantly expensive to purchase and use a gold pen machine. Unfortunately, the preparation process can also affect the metal and as we all know, the gold will not adhere to the surface for long because carbon steel and stainless are not the best surface to plate on.
 
According to my wife, the engineer, they use gold a lot in electronics however, it’s got a higher copper content which allows it to adhere to the carbon steel

Me don’t care I rub metal on rock and shave my face lol

Perfection razor gave up a perfect two pass BBS
No other manufacturer mark – Germany on the back stamp
The Holy Black brush was won in a giveaway
It had it’s issues with lather hogging and losing hairs
But now it’s probably my most luxurious badger knots

Brush: the Holy Black Horn Handle BADGER

Dorco ST 300 DE Blade

I definitely needed a shave so I decided this simple setup for a nice and easy quick shave. Rockwell Model T v1 did a super job mowing down my stubble. I decided to load the brush on the stick and then lather my face. Great lather was produced and I love the Tabac Scent. Had some serious feedback from the alum, but it was expected because Dorco does not makeare the best quality blades. Splashed on the witch hazel and the old-fashioned AV aftershave to end this session. I am ready to face the world. Take care.

It’s a 50s Super Speed which my Dad of dearly loved and cherished memory gave me as a gift for my 14th birthday. When I received this razor it was so shiny and sparkly but after 57 years…..it got dull. 😊😊

The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Leaf Thorn Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
