The West Coast badger was a freebie when I purchased a razor long ago
You could not ask for a better knot - never hogs and delivers a stunning lather
Overall a wonderful BBS shave result

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning! Returned to Barrister and Mann and their excellent "Nordost" shave soap and splash. Great scent with an incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion & Terre d'Hermes EdT.

Another effortless BBS shave!

Went with one of my Parker Shavettes for this afternoon's shave. I only needed 2 passes for an error-free comfortable and very smooth shave. Captain's Choice North makes a easy slick lather for the blade to glide across my skin. Jayaruh's brush #290 brush helps to make a nice lather regardless of the soaps brand. Had some alum feedback. Finished withe the witch hazel and matching aftershave applications. Unfortunately, Captain's Choice Nort is unobtainium. Take care.

First shave with this razor & edge since restoration
@yeolestraightnstrop did a fantastic job as usual
I was also testing to see if I could finish in two passes
Preparing to do a One Blade In February challenge
So no stropping or honing for 28 Days (or how long the edge lasts)
Varying my ATG and XTG to combine the two into a finishing pass worked
Overall a BBS shaving success this morning

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to my vintage Yardley suite of products for what was the best shave of the week, hands down! A very light scent but a simply incredible lather built with the PAA synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Quinn's lavender witch hazel and the matching aftershave lotion, talc & EdC. Yardley is the , no doubt about it! I've never gotten a bad lather from it.

Another effortless BBS shave!

The Proraso White Shave Cream was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher and the Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
