Thursday morning:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 7
PAA Cold Spices SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
PAA Cold Spices AS Splash

As I said before I can’t wait to finish off this Cold Spices soap and aftershave so I can be rid of them once and for all. The soap is getting close to the end and the aftershave is about three quarters done. I must say that I had a great three pass BBS shave but did I enjoy it? Not too much. Tomorrow it’ll be something that I love.

Wishing you all a nice day - be well and stay safe!

Thursday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Musgo Real Shave Soap
Jayaruh #222 Synthetic
AliExpress Double Open Comb
Gillette Nacet
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Duru Cologne

The Musgo Real Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #222 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AliExpress Double Open Comb razor and the Gillette Nacet Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

5 February, 2026

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning! Returned to RazoRock and their excellent "Green Label" shave soap. A wonderful scent with woody, vetiver, green notes along with a great lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, Aqua Velva Original Sport aftershave splash & Caron "Pour un Homme de Caron" EdT. These little pucks from RazoRock are great lather producers! Very slick, very thick.

Another effortless BBS shave!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Akhi I wish I were the one who gave you that soap because I wouldn't be offended if you throw it out! Life is too short for lousy shaves. :)

Feb 5 Head and Face Shave SOTM

Good afternoon.

Mühle R102 (R41)
Feather DE Blade (fresh)
Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Stirling Tsuka SS and AS
Stirling Alum Block
Lucky Witch Hazel
Beard Growth (2 days)
Dome Turf: 8 Days

20260205_102816.jpg

This is a late post for this morning's shave. With 8 days of dome turf, I needed to bring out my Mühle R102 and load it with a fresh Feather Blade to attack the heavy growth. Two passes on the face and 3 on the dome plus pickups gave me a BBS shave. I would have graded it an A+ shave but had to lower it to an A because I got a weeper near my non-existent Adam's apple.
Loaded the brush from the puck and did a face and headlather. Stirling makes can great, slick and easy lather. My very first brush was my Rockwell Synthetic and it always makes a rich and creamy lather, regardless of the soap. I have had it since my early days of shaving 7 years ago and it is still going strong.
Anyway, I applied the alum block and there was some feedback on my neck due to the weep on my neck and on my dome, Finished with the Lucky Witch Hazel and the delightful matching aftershave. Before I left, I sprayed some Tsuka EdT to refreshed the scent Take care.
