This Brick soap is from the Netherlands and it’s an in house product from a barber over there. It has a very nice scent that I can’t describe, it’s a pleasure to lather, it’s so slick, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The owner of the barbershop was shaving his customers with it and selling it to them but now he’s keeping it just for himself. The Hydra Power moisturizer is actually very soothing, and just a small amount is enough. The Attraction Totale aftershave smells quite nice - oyyyy, does it sting at first but then it feels great. The brand new Perma Sharp blade helped me get a dynamite three pass BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

Even if I would offer him double the amount I paid last time I don’t think he would send me any more of these soaps. He wants to keep them for his own use.

Head Shave: Gillette Trac II
P/S: CeraVe Facial Lotion SPF30
P/S: Head Lube Matte

For head shaves I'm going to experiment with different cartridge razors. Today it was the Gillette Trac II.

Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 2
Captain Nemo Explosion de Cedrat SS
Captain Nemo Kaffir Lime ASB
Amatoury 114 Lemon Cologne

These Captain Nemo soaps are awesome - they’re from India and they’re made by a very nice young man named Abir Laskar. This Explosion de Cedrat is vegan based like all of these soaps, it has a lovely lemon/lime scent, it gives excellent, slick lather very easily, it has a pretty strong menthol sensation, and it gives good postshave care. The Kaffir Lime balm smells super nice, it’s also strongly mentholated, and it’s so soothing. Finally the 114 lemon cologne from Lebanon which is extremely cheap and the scent pairs beautifully with this soap and balm. Three passes gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave that was so easy!

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor and the Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
