Swiss Pitralon
Gillette Model 195
Wizamet Blade
Soap: Barrister and Mann Reserve Fern. Top notes: Fern, Soap
Soothing Toner: Quinns Toner with Aloe and Witch Hazel. It has more fragrance than Witch Hazel. Based on the ingredients list, it can't be more than 20% WH. Its terrific and its what i use most of the time, but WH plays second fiddle to the aloe vera in this stuff.

The Palmolive Menthol Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #224 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply The Single Edge SE razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Post: Proraso White After Shave Balm

The Parker Semi-Slant paired with the 5th use Feather excellently. I did three passes to a very smooth finish.

Mama mia after using these menthol atom bombs I think my face will need all day to thaw out. But one thing I can say is that I had a most enjoyable three pass BBS shave - woo hoooooooo!!!!!!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Incredible shave this morning! Returned to Cella and their classic almond shave soap & balm. A classic Italian sweet almond scent with a super thick and slick lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by the matching aftershave balm & Aramis "Tuscany Per Uomo" EdT. I need to start using this more often. Had forgotten what a great soap it is.

Killer BBS result!

What a great shave you had Lantsman!

I once had that Hallows soap and it smells gorgeous - I hope they didn’t change the scent!

DAY 9 – just another ONE Pass DFS this morning
Was not looking for anything more than a knockdown
Chin and Cheeks were almost BBS – Neck is always an issue anyway
Overall a very nice Monday morning DFS shave

Finally got to the final contestant in my AutoStrop journey, this one a clone made sometime after Gillette stopped production of the Valet line. It has a handle like a VB2, blade retention system of a VC2 and the solid bar of a VC4. Paired with a fresh carbon steel blade from Feather (FAS-10), it provided a comfortable DFS-level smoothness after two passes plus touchups.

While I prefer the older models that accept a modified GEM blade, I can say that I’m definitely a fan of these AutoStrop razors. Cheers!
