Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Yet again, today's shave beat out yesterday's for best of the week (thus far). Returned to CBL Soaps and their excellent "Russian Tea" soap and tonic. Fantastic scent and excellent lather created with the Paladin "Somerset" 2-Band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave tonic and Viktor & Rolf "Spicebomb" EdT.

They are a firmer blade and give a superior shave
Finished some bits with the WarHammer
Overall this was a Fantastic Shave

Brush: Semogue 830 BOAR
Post Shave: Osage/Mennen Splash Mix

Thats one of the CBL soaps I am gonna have to try at some point.. The last time I went to get it ( which has been a while ) they were out at that moment.....20 December, 2024
