Great shave Lantsman!

Would you believe that I’m scared to use menthol crystals? 😂😂😂

Thursday morning:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 15
B&M Spice SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Stirling Spice EdT

Today I was in the mood to enjoy the delightful Shulton Old Spice scent and since I’m unable to find my mug with an Old Spice puck in it as well as two NOS backups I selected a couple of perfect substitutes. Will’s Spice soap is absolutely amazing - not only does it smell IDENTICAL to the Shulton Old Spice soap it lathers wonderfully, the slickness is great, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable that I really didn’t need the Lubriderm moisturizer but since I’m a creature of habit I used it anyway. Finally the gorgeous Stirling Spice fragrance and I’m ready to enjoy another relaxing day of retirement. Another three pass fun filled BBS shave - what a pleasure!

Wishing you all a great day - be well and stay safe!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wow! Another candidate for best shave of the week this morning! Returned to PAA and their excellent, "Immortal Peach" soap & splash. Wonderful scent with exceptional lather built with the Omega synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash.

Hope you have a great day. :)

A great shave, Akhi! I know you love that Old Spice scent. When I was a kid, so many men wore Old Spice as their everyday scent. I hope your day is going well.

Thanks so much Akhi!

Since the time when I arrived here in Canada I loved Old Spice. Then again it was the Shulton version which made it famous - not the P&G dreck (crap) that’s sold now. I remember telling my father-in-law that it’s not worth two cents now!

My day was really good - I got a phone call from my cousin of mine in Israel telling me that he and the family are fine. Baruch HaShem!

Nice setup Akhi! One of these days I’m going to try adding some menthol!

Friday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Nivea Shave Cream
Jayaruh #199 Synthetic
GEM Damaskeene
Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Nivea After Shave Balm

The Nivea Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
