My dear brother Fernando is a master artisan - one of the BEST. His soaps and aftershaves are absolutely brilliant - this Frosted Bay Rum soap and aftershave have the most beautiful bay rum scent I ever experienced, the soap is a tallow based treasure with such thick, rich, super slick lather, it’s loaded with icy cold menthol, and it’s so gentle on sensitive skin. The Prep balm’s scent somehow pairs very nicely with any bay rum scented, and the Frosted Bay Rum aftershave is another menthol monster with the same delightful scent as the soap not to mention how good the staying power is. I might add that there’s no stinging or burning from it because it’s witch hazel based. Three passes gave me such a brilliant, frigid BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Best shave of the week contender this morning! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's sublime masterpiece, "Indochanté" and its suite of products. PHENOMENAL scent with exceptional lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching skin food splash and EdP.

Had to rescue this lather today. Added a bit too much water. Fortunately; it was whipped up in the scuttle. Added hot water to the reservoir, and let it sit for about five minutes. The heat drew some of the excess out of the lather and to the bottom of the scuttle. Dumped that excess out, and rewhipped the lather. Great shave.

"Like BarberDave… I make my own fun”
I must have switched out my soap choice 3 times this morning, before going with an old Mystic Water Soap with no remaining fragrance, but an incredible lather, whipped up with the KH4 Keyhole. The Vector with a Pro Guard was harsh, and the Aftershave was here and gone in 90 seconds, which i wanted. Good shave this morning.
