Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Another great shave this morning! Returned to Adopted Acres Soap Co. this time with their excellent "Emerald Acre" shave soap and splash. Fantastic scent! Definit3ely a take on Creed GIT. Fantastic scent with exceptional lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash.

I mixed 1 third Stirling Eucalyptus Mint in with the 2 thirds Stirling Lime. Each of the two soaps completed each other in the final product. A very cooling shave today. BBS finish.

This Citrus Verde soap and aftershave have a lovely scent - it’s citrusy but in a bit of a complex way that I can’t really describe. The soap is duck tallow based, it lathers fabulously, I have to admit that it’s not that slick, but the postshave feeling is fairly good although I needed a little extra Lubriderm moisturizer. Finally the Citrus Verde aftershave which has the same delightful scent as the soap along with a nice menthol kick. I did my three passes and I got a super duper BBS shave - very enjoyable indeed!
