The wife requested I take a brake from working on the lime and get to "smelling good". A full vertical of CBL DB was in order and as always amazing. I also decided to revisit Feather blades, but in the Timeless, has I had not done it yet. The blade and razor combo did make me rethink my opinion of Feathers. Very smooth and enjoyable. BBS renfest amazingness.

Great shave today. Used the soap sample that Chris sent me with my last order. I assume that this is the new base he will be using in soaps. I really liked it! No scent that I could detect (or very light if it was indeed there). VERY slick lather though it seemed t be a tad drying. I'm going to continue using it over the next week. Finished with some of the Dragon's Blood aftershave tonic.

Alum / CBL "Dragon's Blood" Aftershave Tonic

I always look forward to seeing your Rooney’s everyday. I see they are not around anymore, but remind me of my beloved Simpson’s very much. The Brit badger brushes are truly the best IMHO.

Thanks. I agree about the British brushes. I had more than 40 Somerset era lamp-black lettered Simpson brushes at one time. But then I started getting the Rooneys and liked their face feel better, so I sold off the Simpsons, all except a Chubby 3 Extra Super (Manchurian). I don't use the Simpson in my regular rotation.
