Soap/cream of the day

Mama bear Polynesian Red

Definitely a different soap. The lather is slick but there is basically zero residual slickness. You have to be very careful with this stuff. This, I ended up doing a 5 pass shave with my Gamechanger 84, on a brand new Gillette 7 o'clock Platinum blade. The shave came out well, and post shave feels good (not moisturized, but no irritation).

The scent is nice. A fruit (pineapple and apple, maybe?) With some light floral additions. This is a good summer scent (too bad its January). The scent is kinda fleeting, which does not bode well for me (I like a lingering scent). Still, on a 90+ degree summer day, this'll be a good choice. [emoji846]

Hey, @Smattayu ... How does the California Sunrise smell? I'm considering this one. Thanks.
Dead ringer for the opening of Amouage Sunshine man. Creamy lavender with orange brandy, florals and vanilla in the background, as well as a hint of woodsiness. It’s a sweet scent that almost smells like a dessert. It’s my new favorite scent from CBL soaps.

Wow, sounds good @Smattayu ! You sold me. Lol. I am going to try to get a tub of the tonsorial in my next order.

Thanks. [emoji846]

I think you’ll like it. I haven’t done a side by side of Chris’s Premium and Tonsorial formulas to see which I prefer, but I’m also going to get it in Premium....just in case.
