Soap/cream of the day

I tried Canada Shave Soap for the first time today. It was harder than I thought it would be. I guess I don't have enough experience to know what to expect. But I just scraped some into my shaving bowl, added a touch of water... smooshed and thinned the soap out like usual.... it lathered up immediately.

The shave was wonderful. This is an unscented soap. I'm not a fan of heavily scented soaps so no scent worked just fine for me. The soap itself performed as good as any I've tried. I don't have a lot of experience, as you probably know. So far, I've tried Acca Kappa Barbershop, Baume.be, ESC Citrus Kiss, Proraso White and RR Mudder Focker. It was better than some and equal to my other two favorites: Acca Kappa Barbershop and Baume.be.
