Art of Shaving Sandalwood shaving soap (tallow) + Coate's Sandalwood shaving cream. The AoS soap makes good lather, but to my nose its scent has a bit of an unpleasant clay undertone, which seems to be balanced by that of the cream.
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet shaving cream (vintage). It used to be a favorite, then fell out of favor (perhaps because I was tired of it), and now is gaining in favor again.
Ethos Grooming Vanilla Safi shaving soap. I generally prefer vintage soaps, but Frank's soaps are great. The scent of this one is somewhat weak to my old nose, which has lost some of its discrimination, but it is very intoxicating, and the lather is wonderful.
XPEC Unscented shaving cream (v.1) + Rose Absolute Trilogy Hydrosol + Ethos Grooming Mélange d'Agrumes. The older version of XPEC makes fantastic lather, and the scents were great in it. I love Frank's scents, and the Mélange is a favorite.
