I'm curious... Is it just plain peppermint or is there more to the scent?
Straight up candy cane peppermint to me. But not sickly sweet. Not complex at all. Slight tingle, no menthol. Performs as well as the rest of their line.

Ingredients :

Water, Palmitic Acid, Myristic Acid, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Acid, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint Oil), Sodium Hydroxide, Tetrasodium Edta, Disodium Edya, Methylisothiazolinone

Sounds nice

The only soap I have used that was minty was Sterling Cool. When I first smelled it I was hoping for a more menthol like scent. But when i lathered it up. I really liked it. Kind of a nice way to wake up my sense of smell in the morning.

Plan to have a nice peppermint soap in the rotation after I use up a few more soaps that I have in the den.

Actually I liked using it year round. As you said it's a nice scent for this time of the year. But I also liked it a lot in the summertime too.

Agreed. It works any time of year. It is not a warm Christmas cookie scent, but a therapeutic pure peppermint essential oil experience.

If you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls near you they have/had AOS peppermint for fairly cheap.. I think it was either 3 or 5 dollars last time I was there...
