This was my 1st ever shave soap!
And althouh I do appreciate it's old-school traditional appeal and classic scent profile, I now find that it just does not perform as well as my current artisan soaps. No matter how much water I manage to incorporate into the lather, the DRH always seems to dry out on my face before I can completely finish a pass. Furthermore, I find that it lags considerably behind the "elite" artisan shave soap bases in the areas of primary & residual slickness, moisturinzing qualities, and overall post-shave feel.
Never the less, I shall cherish this soap and continue to enjoy it from time to time!
