Rolls of Quarters

The laundry room in my building still runs on quarters. Card system coming soon. I went to my bank branch today to get five rolls and the teller could only give me one. The reason stated was “quarter shortage”. Before I ask to see the manager I thought I would run it by the forum. Anyone else encounter this.

It's likely that there really isn't. I have been hearing this crap for a while now. I won't peddle my "baseless conspiracy theories" though (even though some of them actually come true).

Interesting. So there is plenty but they are being rationed due to interruptions in circulation patterns. If we are moving to a cashless society then we need to be more nimble. Three years to rectify this problem is too long.
