The Deets-
Great shave this morning and I’m rocking this set for the work week. Still moving on, enjoying the simple things and I didn’t realize I had been absent for so long again … squirrel.

Don’t know if I mentioned before but I have a Dob telescope. Nothing fancy and I have been side tracked researching DIY options to add automated tracking. Man, that’s a rabbit hole. After much reading, I think I am ready to start buying parts and give it a go. Yeah … I need another project, just ask the missus. Life is good!

So this work week I’m being all fancy … JK it’s just another week. Great shaves so far and digging this setup. Three smooth passes and I’m BBS for the win!

Home Front-
Rain again this week, but better than a drought so I’m not complaining. I need to get off my butt and freshen up some razors … but I’ve been having squirrel moments recently. I misspoke on what I was doing with my telescope in my last post. I haven’t jumped into DIY tracking yet. I am working on digital setting circles to interface with Stellarium. Anyway, have all the bits and working on it. Had some issues programming the micro controller, but found someone to help sort that out. And now I need magnification to solder these tiny wires. Grrrrrrrr. Life is good!

Soap: DR Harris Windsor

Post Shave-

Dickenson Witch Hazel
AS: DR Harris Windsor

The Deets-
So … started the week off with DR Harris Windsor, another favorite. I find myself being more drawn to scents that are no so “in your face”. I also grabbed the WH just because. And a very nice shave was had.

Loaded heavy and got to it. I started with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I was a bit pressed for time, but stayed unhurried, just enjoying the quiet time. Those three passes yielded a relaxing shave but I missed a smidge around the Adam’s apple. So we’ll call it a DFS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and a splash of Witch Hazel. Chased that with the Windsor aftershave and everything was right as rain! Life is good!

The Deets-
This week I am rocking vintage AOS soap and Aramis AS… good stuff. Yesterday and today I was a bit too aggressive with the snooze button, so a DE got the nod. A couple of very nice shaves were had and I walked away BBS for the win! I was reading some Wee Scot chatter a bit ago, so I may drop the Berkeley into the mix tomorrow. Life is good!
