The Deets -
A late morning shave was had again today. Went all fancy with the SV stuff and it was so nice. And the, new to me, Manaslu delivered as well.

I had been reading that MDC could be loaded with just a few swirls and crank out some nice lather. I decided to try that today with the SV and it also whipped up a really nice lather. Can’t believe I have been way overloading these soaps. Anyway, 20 laps on linen and 60 on leather and it was go time.

I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Oh yeah! Wrapped everything up with a healthy splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! A very nice start to the day. Life is good!

Home Front-
The missus is babysitting grandkids, so Ellie and I are roughing it again this weekend. I had a Dr appointment and some errands to run today. I also stopped and picked up a new pair of New Balance with my birthday money. This week went by way too fast.

I used this setup yesterday and today. Both were very nice shaves, BBS and smelling great! Yesterday my youngest stepson had a cookout and it was just a small gathering of family. Had a great time, good food and company. Man … nothing beats a smoker for cranking out dinner. Thankfully I scored a free meal, since I squandered my birthday money on sneakers. Today my lovely missus has returned and there was much rejoicing. Life is good!

Alright Milky, your family seems to get together on Sundays a lot. I think they all need to join the cadre so you can the zoom calls on the big screen with everyone joining in.
The youngest stepson that does the cookouts, I have turned him on to traditional wet shaving. He mostly uses a DE that I gave him, but he dabbles in the straights also.

Last week he said he needed to order some more Stirling Barbershop. I hooked him up with Moon Soaps Barbershop and the remaining GTB aftershave that I had. Expanding his horizons a bit.
