Hey Brian, thanks for asking. I was a bit hesitant to reply to this because the big G and others are always snooping on websites looking for data to sell ... but anyway. All the critters are doing well, considering the heat. Ellie is laying on the couch snoring as I type this. She does not do the heat well, so it's out real quick for a bio break and then back to the AC. Most of the fam is doing well, except for my mom. She is out of the hospital and rehab. But she now has a hospital bed at home and is about completely bed ridden. They have a lift to get her out of bed and into a wheelchair, but she doesn't have he body strength to move the chair around. I have gone to visit and she doesn't look well. My stepdad also said she is depressed. I can see why with her rapid decline. But she doesn't let on when I talk to her. Anyone so inclined, please keep her in your prayer list.

I had some blood work done recently and the results concerned my doctor, who sent me to a specialist. After more blood work (for the specialist) with numbers that were not encouraging, the specialist now wants to do an MRI. I am trying to get that scheduled as soon as possible. With that said, everyone please add me to prayer lists as well. I am not a snob, I will take: happy thoughts, well wishes, good vibrations, positive energy, or whatever you got.

I am still shaving daily. I have just been doing more reading than posting. Thanks for checking in.

Tim - I am so sorry you are going through hard times - and especially to have two fronts to be concerned about with your mother and your health. I am glad you shared and please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and I will continue to believe and hope that the next tests find what is necessary to get you back on track. You are a good man and I’m glad you’re here on the TSC.

The Deets-
Well this past week has been a hot mess. The shaves were with Stirling One (unobtainium) and my Graydog boar brush. The shaves were great and I really dig that scent. I guess I picked up a sinus infection early in the week. It hit me hard and I am still trying to shake it. I didn’t eat for two days and at one point, I slept a solid 24 hours. I went with Ethos Succes today and that was another great shave. Life is good!

My mom’s condition has worsened. She has stopped eating and drinking. Hospice thinks her passing will be in a matter of days. Thank you all for the public and private well wishes.
