I got some aftershave samples that don’t have a matching soap, so I’ll be trying those out this week. I’ll start those tomorrow, but today it is Tai Winds. I dig this scent. Was a decent shave, but not awesome. This razor was in my refresh stack and I thought I would double check. Yup it needs a refresh, but it did eek out a DFS. Nothing else to report today. Life is good!

A very nice late morning shave today. Again with The Fat and now with the DR Harris Windsor EdT. I thought they were aftershaves. Oh well, I made it work by mixing with the Witch Hazel. Those tiny caps on the samples are a pain in the … Anyway, very nice three pass shave and I am BBS for the win! Man I’m really digging this scent too. I wonder about the longevity of the AS. I have a few more DR Harris samples to use over the next few days. Life is good!

I didn't know Stirling made a Nag Champa, now I might have to try Stirling, I love that stuff. I used to burn it all the time, but now the smoke irritates my lungs, so had to lay off...

D.R. Harris makes some great aftershaves, real classic British stuff.

The Nag Champa is good stuff. I can send you a sample if you want one.

Of the two DR Harris that I have tried so far, I like the Windsor best.

Thanks for the offer, but no one wants to send stuff to Finland.

I like the Sandalwood quite a bit, but it's not for everyone, very camphorous.

Went a slightly different direction today with the aftershave. This is another piece of the PIF from Brian. This one and Kennedy are both stronger aftershaves than the first two I tried. Good stuff. Life is good!

TGIF! It’s my Friday off today and I am enjoying the downtime. Was able to wake up without an alarm and then I had a vendor meeting that I couldn’t get out of. Great late morning shave and wrapped up with the sandalwood. Thank goodness it’s not like that floral stink that TOBS calls sandalwood. It smelled pretty good and the missus liked it. Had to run a couple of the dogs to the vet for annual shots. Also a few other errands to run. Life is good!

A very nice late morning shave was had today. I was not pressed for time and it was a nice relaxing shave. This is another Stirling scent that I really dig and it’s an homage to Paco Rabanne Invictus … good stuff. With a 30 second load time, the soap whipped up a really nice lather that smelled great.

20 laps on cotton and 50 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. The Reynolds has a JNat edge that Eric put on it and has held up very well with stropping. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! Very nice.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Then a healthy splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain. Yup … I’m digging it. Life is good!
