The Deets-
Nice late morning shave yet again. I am also BBS for the win! Great weekend so far, I started it by sending out 3 private PIFs. And we had the kids over for burgers and dogs yesterday. We also wrapped up the evening with fireworks from our town. They did them early and we had front row seats from our folding chairs in our driveway. Happy Independence Day!

So where does the missus stand on this soap? Let’s find out …

Last night we went one town over and caught their fireworks show. It was a good time and gave us two shows in two days. Another very nice shave this morning and I am BBS for the win! Today I have the Trotter Handcrafts on deck. It was setup with a 24mm Finest Badger from TGN. This is a very nice knot with good face feel and it didn’t have any badger funk either. I like the scent of this soap/AS and the performance is good also. The only downside is the scent doesn’t linger as long as I would like. It usually fades before the missus can smell it, so I didn’t know her thoughts on it. I was asked if I would purchase again and I said probably not. That’s because I am trying to get down to 10 or less soaps and know I have a crowded list to work with. But who knows, it could make the list.

A very nice shave was had this morning. I decided to give the missus a break today to try and reduce the side eye I am starting to get. So the unscented got the nod with a Whiskey Bar chaser. It was a nice shave and I like the beeswax formula. It lathers very nice, quick and it is slick. The Suavecito has a nice scent but it seems rather muted. Maybe I should have glugged it … hm. Life is good!
