An outstanding day for a Monday. I enjoyed a very nice, warm lather shave. A 3 pass BBS for the win! Then the missus brought me some, fresh out the dryer, clothes. That is awesomeness right there. Then she hit the donut shop and scored some of those sausage with jalapeños and cheese, wrapped in dough. She had also set out ribs for dinner. Life is good!

Today was another shave with a sample from Mike. This a nice soap, with good slickness and residual slickness. I had a very nice three pass shave and I am BBS for the win!

I also received a wicked straight razor storage box from Eric. It came in the mail today and I am so stoked!

I’m glad you like it Tim. They are a work in progress and I really like how that one came out. The cool design helps as well lol.

So ... the Reynolds is on deck for a second day. Recently Eric put his JNat edge on it and sent it back to me. His last razor was sharp but needed just a smidge more smooth. So I used this one and it didn’t go as well as his razor ... hm. I walked away from that shave DFS for the win ... but I want more. It was smooth, but I felt the sharpness wasn’t there.

False alarm ... user error. So today I stropped it up and went for round two. I must have been off yesterday, I got a much better shave today and I am BBS for the win! Nice work Eric! Life is good!

A great shave today. The only change was the soap and Stirling always does a good job for me. A 30 second load time was all it took to work some magic.

10 laps on cotton and 40 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I am enjoying this JNat edge and I walked away BBS for the win! Then a nice warm post shave lather.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! Yes it was. Thunderstorms today so just kicking back for a chill day. Life is good!

Trying another sample from Mike. I typed that mouthful once already, so look up if you want to see the name. Goodness. I cannot begin to describe this scent ... I got nothing for you. It was a bit strong on the puck, but mellowed out when lathered. I don’t usually use a synth, but I wanted to make sure I like this handle before a natural knot goes in it. So with the synth, I accidentally dumped a bunch of water to it. Surprisingly the soap didn’t break. I just stayed after it and it whipped up a nice lather.

3 easy peasy passes and I am BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! You know it. Sun is shining and a high of 84 today. Life is good!
