So I am off work today and thought I would indulge in a premium shave. I can sum it up in three words ... A MAZ ING. Had my brush soaking in very warm water, shook it out and went with a 20 second load time on the soap. That built up a really nice warm lather. I am truly digging the warm lather on cold days.

10 laps on cotton and 40 laps on leather and the Aust was ready for action. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Those were three great passes: slow, smooth and warm. Outstanding! And for the finish, I am BBS for the win! That’s right, you know it. I still had plenty left for a post shave while I cleaned my gear too.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! That was a great way to start the day. Life is good!

What is this polar vortex crap that has settled in down here? Who left the door open?

Was checking that out yesterday, some cars were completely shredded, couldn't tell what they were anymore.

The way some of those highways are made, with barriers on both sides, there's nowhere to go when something happens, you become the fish in the barrel.

A very nice shave this morning and I hit the Haslinger like it owed me money. That finished it off except for a few random bits that are not enough for another shave. The Graydog Boar is doing a great job and has settled down nicely.

Went with my standard three pass shave and I am BBS for the win! I did load heavy so there was plenty for a post shave also. Wrapped it up with a smear of the ASB and everything was right as an easy rain on a lazy 85 degree day! Yeah homey don’t play like that on these cold days. Life is good!

Speaking of the cold, I know this may look like Spring to some people but my gosh this is Texas. And it’s supposed to get worse.

Changed it up a bit and had a nice hot shower before the late morning shave. That was a very nice shave, with a nice warm lather and a great scent. Man the brush warmer is amazing. Typical three pass shave and I am once again BBS for the win! Cold weather sucks, but we have food, shelter and heat. Life is good!

Somebody from Kaufman better get ahold off Greta Thunberg. Her Global climate change/warming. Doesn’t seem to jive with your or anyone else’s weather patterns. She did get out of school and fly/sail around and get attention. So she’s got that.

Well they used to call it global warming until it started snowing heavy years ago. Then they reduced the number of sensors they monitored which raised the average temp. And with all the people that weren’t driving during the pandemic only made a small dent in carbon emissions.
