Hard to tell...I think he may have mentioned something about it not being his favorite?Could be just me...but I sense a hostility toward cedar

Yeah, I'm that way too.I love cedar! As a kid I would chop off a limb and shave off the wood down to the red stuff and stick it in my room for the smell!
I even made a lamp when I was about 10 with a branch from a cedar tree stripped down to the heartwood,... that was late '60's.Yeah, I'm that way too.
Oops, now you definitely are weird!
Soap: Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh...
I picked this set up on our visit to Rod and Mandy’s shop. Off the puck, I wasn’t sure about this scent, so I wanted to lather it and see how it opens up. I am still on the fence with this one....
Hey Chris, good to hear from ya! I also have plenty of other Stirling to fall back on. The shop was very nice! Full of product and staff. Everybody was very friendly as well. I would drive back up there for another visit.I had tried their Frankincense and Myrrh either last year or the year before, and I did not like that particular scent at all. That's OK, I've plenty other Stirling soaps that I totally dig that will last me a lifetime!......How was their shop?

And the beat down continues, with this tub on the ropes. I have a few vintage DE razors on hand, with some to keep and some to part with. This one is a keeper. I grabbed it and a different brush for today’s shave. A 15 second load time and I was ready for business.
This razor is set on 6 and delivered an outstanding shave! Three easy peasy passes and I am BBS for the win! Man I love these vintage razors. Some times I don’t think, just do and that stance is easy to take with a DE. Today I did pay attention because that will help me sort out the keepers. Something I noticed this morning is that I don’t skin stretch with a DE. Guess there is no need. I was paying attention to angle, pressure and feedback. I guess I do that subconsciously. That was a great shave!
I lean more towards straight razors now, but I will keep a handful of DEs around. More for just future proofing, in the event that I am unable to use a straight for whatever reason. Anyway, that’s my thoughts for today, as warped as they may be. I am off work this week, so it will be a great week. Life is good!
Thanks Chris! After the brush shaming I received, I had to change course. I think this is a 26mm right? That makes it like a McMansion among brushes. I’m all kinds of classy todayVery nice shave Tim! High class, high quality!
I see that Fatboy is getting some regular love. Good stuff Tim!
Thanks Gents! The razor looks to be in mint condition
As it should be!I’m all kinds of classy today
You are correct sir. Good catch Ken!I'm a bit confused. That last DE razor looks like a "Slim" to me Tim. Both are nice though. Guess that makes me a shave gear nerd.
Maybe it was just a Fatboy on the Razor Weight Watchers program mkay?

I thought so, but I figured you fellas knew what you were talking about, and thought it was maybe just the image angle or something. You are correct sir. Good catch Ken!
