Finally was able to pair up a soap with its aftershave. This is unobtainium and I'm getting near the bottom of the tub. So I used what was left in the bowl again to use up more of the aftershave which seems to get used at a lower rate even with my KJesque application. The weekend was good a varied. Saturday was the Make-A-Wish reveal. The kid didn't even know we were coming so it was a total surprise. Pretty cool. And since that was up near the city, I took the opportunity to pick-up an order from K&L wine. We spent the morning on Saturday cutting up branches and filling the yard waste container and then Sunday morning I went and rented a chainsaw and spent an hour cutting down the trunks of the trees and chopping those and the bigger branches into bin-sized pieces for slow disposal in the yard waste. Once all that is gone, I'll start looking at prices for someone to come breakup and remove the concrete slab back there so I can lay pavers. But before that, I think next will be having the wife pick the colour she wants the front door (even thought I really like the red it is now) and repainting that because it's weathered through to the wood in a few spots.
