Nurse Dave's Journal

I'll likely have pictures posted from the whole cruise before we even hear about Steven's 2nd day. We're mostly doing the same route that guy did, except the opposite direction.
Hey....I like to keep my audience riveted. Besides....my trip reports are entertaining.

Okay, these Wilkinson blades just aren't sharp enough for my liking. I think I don't have a ton of them, but they may not get all used up.
If you don't want them......I can take them off your hands.

IMO, your vacation report of the first day was very sparse. The Red Sox and Fenway deserve wall to wall coverage. 😠

Started packing last night and decided to go back to bringing my bowl and soap samples instead of just using one shave stick the whole trip. This resulted in the realization this morning that I didn't have a shave bowl next to the sink. It's a good thing I'm a professional and pivoted to loading off the tub and face lathering. Getting a wee bit (that metric) anxious about getting to Canada tomorrow. We have to travel through Newark and that was one of the airports with big delays yesterday because of the air traffic controllers calling out sick. While researching today's delays I ran across a flight restriction in Florida due to a new law. Florida Law (SB 56): In 2025, Florida passed a bill making it a third-degree felony to intentionally disperse chemicals or other substances into the atmosphere for the purpose of changing weather, temperature, or sunlight. What in the heck are they trying to do over there???

My Newark advice......run from the first gate to the second. And hope you get there in time.
Jeesh! Our layover is almost 3 hours. So my plan was for there not to be any delays, make sure we're in the right terminal for the 2nd flight, check into the club, and relax with a free scotch and whatever pasta they are serving.

3 hours?! that's unacceptable ...unless of course it means you can calmly shuffle from one gate to the other and be plied with free scotch while waiting, then it's ok.

Apparently, some morons there think the weather can be controlled! 🤣🤣

Also, we’ve been seeding clouds to make rain since the 1940s with dry ice and metal salts, and it’s been considered pretty safe. Kurt Vonnegut’s brother actually figured out a way to do it (talented family)!

I guess Floridians are just tired of so much rain?

Indeed, weather modification research and application has been around since the 1940s so in essence we can control the weather
