I went on autopilot today and forgot to use the match AS even though I had it out and everything. Oh well. Was a different morning for me. I had a certification test that was my last goal in terms of advancing my personal profession, was part of my annual goals, and I had to pass in order to get reimbursed the $500 test fee. No pressure. Well, said test wasn't fun but it was passed and there are more letters after my name now. They dig that junk in healthcare.

I ain't digging your junk! (or anyone else's for that matter!)
.... but then again, I'm not in the healthcare profession. :ROFLMAO:

I hear what you're saying with initials after the name in healthcare. I have had to get several myself. I am on 2 rows on my business cards now. I have always said though "the more letters you got the less common sense you have". I don't have any common sense left

Congratulations, Dave.

Mine was Name, MSN, RN. I had certifications when I was a BSN (CCRN, and later CNOR). Those AACN cert tests are tough, as well as expensive. One was on my own dime, the other was reimbursed.

Do you have a BS, an MS and a PhD? We all know what the BS stands for, MS is More of the Same and PhD is Piled Higher and Deeper.

Hey Gear, it's been a big week for free food! Tuesday we had our first quarterly birthday potluck for the department. Which meant leftovers yesterday as well. Today is our service award celebration. I'm at 15 years so I get a free lunch. Then I have a staff member who hit 20 years so I am going to the celebration dinner tonight with her. Then tomorrow is a lunch-provided meeting. Whew!! Even more exciting is that tomorrow I get to sport my Christmas Hawaiian shirt for the first time. 🎅

This scent is AWESOME. That's what I know. I was all jazzed that it was Friday and I could head straight home and have a cigar as it's been several days since my schedule has permitted it. Nope, got a text from the folks renting our house that the furnace won't turn on. It's not like there's really anything I can do to fix a furnace, but I'll head over there at work and put on a show and then have to call a fixer person. Anyway, likely will get a Cobb salad for lunch today so I'll look forward to that. But I was informed by one of my staff that's ordering for next Wednesday that I won't get a cobb salad because they are going to order from a Mediterranean place. I guess I'm losing my influence!

Pretty good weekend. Lots of holiday stuff. Ended up putting lights on a tree outside for the first time. Ended up looking good and worth the effort. Lots of wrapping getting done too. Then I got stood up by @heysi for our zoom call so he could go look at some cup someone else won. Go figure.

I like to think that my cheering helped to win the Cup. And your christmas lights don't need cheering (they are shiny like the Cup......but now we're drawing more parallels than comparisons).

Besides...absence makes the heart grow fonder.
