"Best Shave of the Week" candidate this morning! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's "Indochanté" soap, splash & EdP. A wonderfully sublime scent with an incredible lather built with the Sorrentino synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching skin food splash & EdP.

Closing out the workweek with this classic from Deep Purple. Hope you enjoy.

Another "Best Shave of the Week" candidate this morning! Returned to my Valobra-era TAOS unscented shave soap. One of the best lather producers out there. Such a shame these soaps have been discontinued. Three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and Murray & Lanman Peruvian Florida Water.

Late post but a great shave to start the day. Returned to my vintage Shulton "Old Spice" suite of products. Fantastic Old School scent with incredible lather built with the Semogue for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion & EdC.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Kicking off the workweek with a classic from Queen Hope you enjoy.

Fantastic shave this morning! Returned to CBL Premium Shave Soap and @CBLindsay / Chris's excellent "Heritage Path" shave soap and tonic. An incredibly refreshing scent with a lovely, slightly herbal green note. The top is very complex. A lot going on. There's also a slightly fruity / sweet note that reminded me of a fresh Granny Smith apple. The scent off the soap is nice, but when the tonic was applied, the fragrance exploded! A wonderfully thick and slick lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave tonic, CBL Premium Barber Powder & Creed "Erolfa" EdP.

Another fantastic shave this morning! New soap day with the arrival of "Brown Windsor" shave soap from Mystic Water Soap. Great scent with a warm, spicy note that, to me pushes it into the Bay Rum / Old Spice realm of scents. A very thick and slick lather built with the Sorrentino Brushworks synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, Skin Bracer "Cool Spice" aftershave lotion, CBL Premium Barber Powder & vintage Avon "Brisk Spice" EdC.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just follow what you guys post about the topic, so causal interest would be how I rate myself on this topic.

This first tranche of files has had over 1 billion hits globally, so the interest is real. If the approach for this initial release was to "test the waters", I think they have their answer. Hopefully more and better stuff will come out in time.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: A great though rushed shave this morning. Rain moved in over night and I could hear it on the roof when my alarm clock went off... The first time.. Several "snooze" slaps later, I'm rushing to make it in on time.. I'm not sorry at all. LOL!
