Going with one today from supergroup Gizmodrome. Hope you enjoy.
A fantastic shave with which to close out the workweek. Returned my vintage Shulton suite of products. Fantabulous Old School scent with exceptional lather built with the Simpson Manchurian badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave lotion, talc & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Great practice last night. Looking forward to the show tomorrow.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Fine Accoutrements and their excellent "Platinum" shave soap & splash. Wonderful Creed Aventus scent with exceptional lather from the original formula built with the Aylsworth synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave lotion.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Show tonight but storms are going to be moving in. Hope it doesn't get too bad.

Wonderful Old School scent with exceptional lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and Brut aftershave lotion & EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Skipped yesterday so today's shave was extra nice. Great show Saturday night. Not a large crowd, but the ones who braved the weather to come out were into it.

Another wonderful shave this morning! Returned to Fine Accoutrements and their killer "Lavender Pour Homme" shave soap & splash. Fantastic scent! A near spot-on dupe of Czech & Speake's Oxford & Cambridge. Exceptional lather from the original formula puck, built with the WWBW badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion & Czech & Speake "Oxford & Cambridge" EdC.

Closing out the workweek with an 80's classic from Rod Stewart. Hope you enjoy.
A phenomenal shave this morning! All the wonderful SOTD pics from @Yehuda D, @Jayaruh, @Ram57 & @Yetzirah has had me hankering for a Tabac shave. Can't remember the last time I used it so I remedied that today. Wow! Had forgotten what a wonderful shave it gives! Classic scent and excellent lather built with the Riva Brushes Manchurian badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & the matching after shave lotion & EdC.
Gonna have to put Tabac back in rotation. Glad I was able to get a couple of refill pucks of the tallow soap before they all disappeared.

Late post but a great shave this morning! Returned to CBL Premium Shave Soap and the excellent "Lavender & Leather" shave soap. Fantastic scent with phenomenal lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Barbasol ASB. Easy BBS result.

Another late post but again, a great shave to start the day! Returned to Crabtree & Evelyn and the excellent "Mysore Sandalwood" shave soap. Not a lot of scent when I first began using it. However, it's gotten stronger as I've worked further into it. Phenomenal lather built with the Semogue SOC boar brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Mysore Santal" skin food splash & EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Blah... Was up at 4 this morning. Just snapped wide awake. Seems like it should be later than it is.

It's "Metal Monday" and today I'm going with great cut from Dirty Shirley. Hope you enjoy.
Great shave with which to kick off the workweek. Returned to CBL Premium Shave Soap and Chris's excellent "Hammam Spa" shave soap. This is a perfect warm weather scent as it's light but very pleasant. Incredible lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Acqua di Parma "Colonia" aftershave emulsion & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Could have sworn I ordered the matching aftershave tonic along with the soap. However, after looking back at my order history, I see that I didn't. Will have to remedy that!

Today is the 15th anniversary of the 2011 Tornado Super Outbreak. Tornados are a common thing here in the south. So much so that you can become unconcerned when they occur. But this day.. This was the first time in a long time that I was actually scared. When you see large debris falling out of the sky from a tornado that is 35 miles away (as the crow flies), you know this is a different situation altogether. And by "large debris", I mean sections of roofing (3' X 4'), some with shingles still attached, and some with exposed nails that have been ripped out and bent by the winds.

Just FYI, the above gif is from the Tuscaloosa EF-4 storm. This storm alone had 190mph winds, was on the ground for over 80 miles and killed 65 people.

Revisiting Sunday's shave because it was so great! Light but very nice scent from the C&E Mysore Sandalwood shave soap with incredible lather built with the Sorrentino Brushworks synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Mysore Santal" skin food splash & EdT.
May just use this set up for the rest of the week.
