looking for some spicy scents

Does anyone have any experience with hub city soap's Aegytus. i have been thinking about giving that one a try as well.
I have not used this soap. I have a sample of their Morning Hike, which is quite unique and is very good quality. Additionally, I've seen a lot of reviews for them, including their Monday Night Lights (I think it's called). Unfortunately, I don't remember ever seeing a review for Aegyptus.

Fwiw, I believe on their site they do sell samples to try.

For spicy, I would also recommend Murphy & McNeil Gael Laoch. You can get a sample to give it a try. Great soap base and the scent is their take on Creed Viking.

silk road has become one of my favorites at first i didnt like it, but after lathering it up it grew on me. ill check out ariana and evans khalifa and see how it smells. what exactly is CBL im not familiar with this
Looks like @Spider beat me to the punch. Yeah, CBL makes some great soaps. Some of my favorite. But seriously...in the terms of soothing a shaved face...his Aftershave Tonic is the ABSOLUTE best in my opinion!

Also...if you are willing to PM an address to me...I can scoop out a sample of Khalifa and some other stuff I have that you may or may not like and then send it to you.

I wasn't sure where your "spicy" definition was drifting, but I am certainly going to add a HUGE YES to @CBLindsay soaps. Used his Smokey Bay Rum today (since you were asking on bay rum) and if you want "SPICY" you must go for Dragons Blood. It is a dark wizardly cave of scent fantasy!

EDIT: Just making this comment made me go buy more Dragons Blood tonic and oil :ROFLMAO:

i wanted to put my cbl soap in my old spice mug but its quite hard, is there any way to make it a bit more mallealble so i can make it fit better in my mug? i was thinking about doing this with my sv soap as well cause its loose in the tin and it seems like it would be hard to bloom. any thoughts would be greatly apreciated thanks

Odd all of the pucks I've had easily fit into my various OS mugs. Shave a bit of soap off from around the edges. Toss that in the bottom and drop the puck on top.

it will fit it just fits loosely and i wanted a tighter fit so the soap doesnt move around while loading. do you bloom your cbl soaps or just go right onto the puck dry with a wet brush?

Typically right to the brush, and even a bit dryer than you'd expect. Chris' soap go from load and proto to lather easily and are hard to break.

i broke it today :( i usually break the lather a few times before getting it write, im gonna use his soaps all week to try to get a better feel for how they lather, i could get it to go creamy for this shave, i just ended up with foam unfortenatly. i couldnt laod the way i normally do, so i think i may not have had aneough soap within the latther.
