I keep forgetting to take a pic... The Stubble Buster is down to a small, really soft ring around the edge of the tub. It is still loading well, but I am almost to the point of scraping it into my mug like Chad did. This has been a good 3017.

I need to glug the AS a little more than I have been. I still have almost 1/2 of a bottle.
 
yeah. I am thinking it is going to start going faster now with loading a bit heavier but also it seems to be getting super soft from constant use. Its almost cream like in softness.
 
Maybe that was the issue with my new tub. The soap seemed different in that I was getting chunks of soap in the lather and erked me out of the 3017.................well that and the desire for variety but I hope it gets softer than it was when I get back to it. My partial tub was MUCH different consistency

i bloomed it before each shave for a week or so ( maybe 7-10 shaves) and that seemed to soften it up a lot and it hasn't lost that without me blooming for several shaves now.

This is only the second soap i have ever bloomed. The first being my puck of MWF and since i don't use it often i have to bloom it every time to get a decent lather.

Only reason i even tried it was due to Chad mentioning that he was.
 
I know Chad is only a shave or two away from ending his misery with his soap. Has anyone completed their tub yet? I know a couple of you are close.
 
I am going through about 3g a day. It has softened up quite a bit. But I really only used to bloom triple milled soaps.
 
Made some penetration through to the bottom this morning but guessing the soap is actually so soft that I am pushing the soap around while loading jt
