If you have to do something...

I would never wear jeans like that.....unless I was going to a Motley Crue concert....back in 1989.....at the Forum in Los Angeles.......when I sat in the 8th row.......I'm just sayin'.
Ummm, what makes you think you're the one wearing a watch??

Juuuust eked out a sub 8 minute mile in the OT workout last night for a new benchmark PR. Phew that took some effort. I don’t think I’ve done that since high school or younger.

This year’s flu shot is throwing be for a bit of a loop I think. Low energy, soreness, and some sniffles today. Tested negative for COVID fortunately.

Monday once again catches me unprepared, having spent much of the weekend under the effects of flu-like symptoms. Feeling just good enough to head in today, though I’d rather it be Sunday again.

Worked down enough of my Clown Puke tub to warrant it going back to the cabinet for a while. Decided to kick off the new soap era with LNHC Dark Warrior (a Sauvage-like scent I believe). I’ve always had a difficult time with these soaps unfortunately. They load really sticky and seem to just not develop well for me. Well, many years of shave experience later…same issues this morning. I’ll keep working at it though.

Still on the way back to 100% health wise…mostly just dealing with the gross post nasal junk and some minor aches.

Lather was a bit better today. Used a wetter brush and worked a bit more in the tub initially. Still needs improvement though.

Nasal mucous is an excellent source of lubricants. Have you ever used it that way before?

LNHC soaps do take a wetter brush and more work, but are well worth the effort. Lisa’s soaps don’t generally need more lubricants, though if they do, refer to above (you’re welcome). 😊

Thanks Bruce! Yes…the lather has been slowly improving since I started. Improving in the sense of structure and fluff, it’s always been slick. My last pass is still usually a watery mess though. Not used to having to work so hard for lather, especially with a synthetic brush.

Gear: Tedalus Essence, Feather ProGuard blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, LNHC Dark Warrior soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Speick AS, and Acqua Di Gio Profumo to finish!

Only about one or two more uses of this ADG decant left…really gonna miss having this one. Profumo is numero uno of the ADGs!

The No Man’s Sky “Halloween” event is on!
