Any fans of the cartoon show Adventure Time or who know about the spin off card game “Card Wars”…the original company that made the card game is doing a rerelease Kickstarter for the entire game collection with some new exclusives!

Really fun game for kids young and old!

Saw a Cybertruck when I was driving through SB today on my way to work.

Has to be one of the most ugly automobiles I’ve ever seen! 😂

I thought you said "Car Wars" and got all excited there for a moment.

Shave #327 (850 Open Blade Shaves) of 2023:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Proraso Red AS, and Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille to finish!

Safe trip thankfully with no major traffic surprisingly! I do hate that drive though, ugh.

Great shave this morning after a nice sleep in.

The morning starts off with breakfast and other festivities at a local sister-in-law’s house, then we’ll slowly wind our way back to my in-law’s for the remainder of the day and family dinner and games finale.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Pssst…it’s Thursday Dave…just in case you lost track again.

Shave #328 & 329 (850 Open Blade Shaves) of 2023:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Proraso Red AS, and Tom Ford Oud Wood to finish!

A couple more great days with family and food under my belt. Got to see my grandparents yesterday for the first time in a while; that was nice! Not sure how many more opportunities there will be to see them, as they’re 102 and 98, and have really taken a bit of a turn in the last year or two.

Packing up today and making the trek home sometime (hopefully) this early afternoon.

Have a great Saturday all!

Safe Travels Chris

Only a few close calls on the crazy stretch of the 5 freeway.
I learned to drive in Massachusetts, where drivers are selfish lunatics. I avoided I-5 south of San Francisco, where drivers are homicidal maniacs. Going north? No problem. South anywhere near San Diego or LA and you are asking for trouble, IME.

Shave #330 (850 Open Blade Shaves) of 2023:

Gear: Colonial “Armored” Brass General, Feather Pro blade, Trotter Handcrafts Taurus A brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Captain’s Choice Venture AS, and Replica By The Fireplace to finish!

No church today, so I got a nice bit of extra rest. 4 days of waking up to no alarm…what a rare treat! Sadly, still have to chip away at the adult duties/chores.

Excellent clean up and shave today between laundry loads. Swapped out razors and took the Cadillac of Artist Club shavers for a spin…the Colonial “Armored” Brass General (nickel plated)! I do love this razor! Darker scent to finish up.

More laundry to do while sneaking in a little game play here and there.

Have a blessed Sunday all!

Shave #331 (850 Open Blade Shaves) of 2023:

Gear: Colonial “Armored” Brass General, Feather Pro blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Fine American Blend AS, and Fine American Blend EDT to finish!

The Monday rat race begins!

Great shave this morning, though it was cold AF. 3 solid passes. Continuing to whittle down this CBL soap…I think I may be just less than half way? Hard to tell. I do need to reform it soon, to level it out. Fine AB combo to finish!

Yep, lots of catch up work to do, plus next week’s end of the year remembrance to continue to prepare for, that our agency puts on annually.

Happy Monday all!

Shave #332 (850 Open Blade Shaves) of 2023:

Gear: Colonial “Armored” Brass General, Feather Pro blade, Simpson The Duke synth brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Barbasol Pacific Rush AS, and Chanel BDC EDP to finish!

So thankful for heated blankets!

Great shave this morning! Not a whole lot to report…just excellence! Finished up with Bleu De Chanel FTW!

The family had their first shared dating experience yesterday evening, as the eldest, who just recently gained his first girlfriend, had her over to hang out after school and for dinner. Went well! Still weird though…now I feel even more old!

IDT this morning followed by most of the day at the EOL facility.

Happy Tuesday all!
