Shave #319 (365 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Mystery razor from Pass box, Personna blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, Mystery soap from Pass box, generic witch hazel, Thayerā€™s Medicated, and Pitralon Classic to finish!

Surprise surprise...one more spray of the 1 Million clone on my neck/shirt before heading out to work yesterday and I was catching whiffs for the next 8+ hours! Not bad ā€™tall!

Shaved with a razor and soap from the pass box this morning to solidify whether or not theyā€™d be a part of my picks...they will be! The razor will take some getting used to, but was a much more pleasant experience than I previously had with a similar razor I have, which doesnā€™t see much use. Hopefully this one will change that a bit!

Off to work a bit early to start a busy work weekend. Many moving parts. Ready for my weekend already.

Have a great Friday all!

Shave #320 (365 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Ikon x3 Slant, Personna blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, Proraso Red soap, generic witch hazel, Thayerā€™s Medicated, and Proraso Red AS to finish!

Up a tad early to get some hang out time with the kids. It was a longer night than expected last night.

Sorry ahead of time, a bit of a rant here. Weā€™re already down a worker as one of our part timers resigned to do an internship. Another guy I work with just canā€™t seem to catch a break and therefore I, by extension, canā€™t either. Itā€™s nobodyā€™s fault either really (except maybe long term life choices). A few weeks ago a coworker was out a week with serious stomach issues. Wednesday morning he tore a tendon in his elbow, but was still able to one arm it. Well, last night he torn his ACL, just walking around cleaning, 2 hours into his shift. He goes to see a specialist Monday...reading up, chances are weā€™ll be luck if he can actually do work anytime before Christmas...and these next couple months are our busiest of the year. What gives?!

OK rant over. Thankfully weā€™re hiring someone, for the person that resigned, this week. Just hoping this all sorts out somehow otherwise weā€™re more likely to have some sick workers from shouldering the extra load.

Anyways...hope the rest of yā€™all are having a great Saturday!

Whew, working understaffed at all is lousy, much less during a busy season. Sorry to hear that Chris. Hopefully the new hire can help smooth things out.

Shave #321 (365 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Supply blade, Sorrentino TSC 1st Anniversary badger brush, SV 70th soap, generic witch hazel, Thayerā€™s Medicated, witch hazel/aloe blend AS, SV 70th AS, and Guerlain Vetiver frag to finish!

Bed late, up early. And to answer your question...yes, I used 4 aftershaves today!

With some solid effort, got off just exactly on time with last nightā€™s shift. Canā€™t ask for better than that I guess! Got home and spent time with the missus before dragging ourselves to bed.

Up early for services this morning. I like a full shower n shave before heading out, so itā€™s upon me to make sure I have time to do that while also allowing time for everyone else to do their thing...the one bad part of a single bathroom gig. What a shave it was though...cruise control easy with a bevy of luxuriously green scents, topped off by 70th AS and GV of course! 70th is a little lighter and brighter, but GV actually rounds it out pretty nicely with some more muted, mellow greenness. Iā€™m sold on GV now after this, my 3rd or 4th use. Iā€™ll be picking up a full size bottle at some point if my EO experimentation doesnā€™t kick off soon. The wife doesnā€™t mind it either, she says to just smells like soap to her. Hahahahah, ā€œjust soapā€...silly woman...

At some point I need to get the yard cleaned up. All my trees seem to have conspired that this was the week to start some major shedding.

Have a blessed Sunday all!
