Shave #247 (338 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:
Gear: RR GC .68, Astra SP blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, CBL ROS soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, and Stirling Barbershop AS to finish!
Don’t mind me, just chugging along!
Think I’m going to have to use my CBL ROS a little more often. It’s developed some little while spots. Must be some of the fats separating a bit. Definitely not turning, still performs like a champ, and smells damn good! Stirling Barbershop was the cherry on top!
Not really a busy day today, just not a closing early day sadly (those will be much fewer until the holidays) due to the spread of time of events on campus this evening.
Still sending out the odd ministry position application here and there, all out of state, no bites yet though. I’m pretty apprehensive about that impending time of finding something and saying goodbyes to our community and family here; I’m also ready to make forward steps. So each moment I don’t hear back is both a bit of a blessing and also a bit of a curse at the same time.

Quick post as I head out the door for services.
Nice shower n shave this morning. Was long overdue for an Oud Minerale Shave, so I dug it out of the soap drawer...so good!
Services this morning, then off to pick up the kids from the grandparents, a bible study later, and hopefully nothing in between!
