If you have to do something...

It’s not me, it’s the darn auto correct! I swear it’s gotten 10x worse since the iPhone 4.

Sometimes I even properly spell an actual word, the one I want, and it still auto corrects.

I agree. I’ve had things autocorrected that were 100% right the first time. And it never autocorrects to anything close to what you were trying to say!

I have never, ever wanted to use the word "ducking" in a text. Just saying.....

Shave #56 (Open Blade Shave #264) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (25), RR Game Changer .68, Astra SP blade (25), RR Big Bruce synth, Cella soap, generic witch hazel, and Fine Savon Lavande AS to finish!

Shave #57 (Open Blade Shave #265) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (26), RR Game Changer .68, Astra SP blade (26), RR Big Bruce synth, Cella soap, generic witch hazel, Old Spice AS (modern), and Lucky Tiger AS to finish!

Nice shower and shave this morning while catching up on folks’ videos. No irritation post-shave, but the Feather felt pretty rough this time around. The Astra SP hasn’t changed and I was able to do some light buffing again. If not for that, I’d have been only about 40% BBS, so the lack of a sharp edge is pretty noticeable.

I’ve kept to my 2 razor shaves pretty well this month, but I think it’s time to at least bring an SE into the mix here n there. Next month I’ll probably use the GEM Jr a couple times and perhaps the Hawk.

Back to a regular work week today. The weather has been chilly and we have had light rain since yesterday, which should continue through tomorrow. I do like this kind of weather!

Have a great Tuesday all!

Nice change of pace for the shave today, picked up the GEM Jr, which has a blade with an undetermined number of shaves on it, probably 10 ish or a couple less. Not to shabby. No blood loss or irritation, about 60% BBS range.

Weather can’t make up its mind today - Overcast, to rainy, to thunderstorm, to sunny, to overcast and rain again. Got a good shave this morning though!

One interesting shave related thing today...I wear my shemagh almost daily. Once it goes on, I only really take it off when I begin to sweat while working. Therefore, it catches a lot of scent from my aftershaves. Admittedly I haven’t washed it for a while, but it actually smells pretty damn good. I’m tempted to make a little AS mix of all my aftershaves put together...

So if you mix a bunch of aftershaves how are you going to add the sweat to get the scent just right?

I dunno, it is probably something simple...like a tumbleweed scent or something :p

I've been tempted to try this as well. Just might take a few days to get through them all!

May well be worth the effort! Though I guess for you it might take up a full one of your days off, lol.

Nice shower n shave today! This morning I was back to the old routine of losing 30 minutes of my day trying to keep up with everyone on the forum. It was nice! :ROFLMAO:

I’ve been finding that, while my prep, shaves, and post have overall have been excellent, I’m having a hard time lately getting the corners of the mouth and under the chin to a long-lasting BBS like I used to (or like I think I used to?). Some really stubborn stubble has been popping up. I mean it’s just meant more cleanup and experimenting (skin stretches and puffing up area), but it’s become more noticeable the effort required.

Today is my Wednesday at work, but shouldn’t be too bad.

The missus and I are greatly looking forward to our annual weekend away, with no children, next week, to the Carmel, CA coastline for a couple of days. This will be our 4th year doing it I believe. Worth it every time!

Have a great Thursday all!
