If you have to do something...

You’re getting some nice longevity out of those blades Chris. It’s a good thing too. Now you can start saving money on blades to pay for those vacations!

Sounds like you have some nice trips lined up!

Lol, thanks Steve!

A trip to Hawaii? Color me jealous!

It’ll definitely be a treat!

Sweet for Hawaii! Which island(s)?

Just the Big island for the most part. We’re renting, essentially, a small mansion and some cars to get around when needed. There’s going to be a few things the entire group does, but plenty of time for the individual families to head out on their own. Any island hopping we want to do will be up to us.

Hawaii, maybe someday

......but probably not.

Keep hope! I never thought I’d go, that’s for sure!

Shave #45 (Open Blade Shave #253) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (14), RR Game Changer .68, Astra SP blade (14), RR Big Bruce synth, Cella soap, generic witch hazel, and Bootlegger’s Bay Rum AS to finish!

Late night yesterday after work, finishing the kids’ Valentines for their classes, so I’m a bit tired today.

Nice, refreshing shower and shave though! It took a good bit of cleanup to get a nice finish under the chin, but no irritation at least.

Starting last night through late this morning, we’ve had quite the storm blowing through. Moderate rain and consistent, high gust winds. It’s calmed somewhat now, but is supposed to continue through the weekend. Glad I got that yard work done when I did!

Happy Thursday all!

Ah, the valentine's for everyone in the class days. Luckily we left those behind this year. Though, I think I'd rather still be doing that than hearing one of the girls is making one for a boy.

Time to get that shotgun to clean when they come over dad!

Shave #46 (Open Blade Shave #254) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (15), RR Game Changer .68, Astra SP blade (15), RR Big Bruce synth, Cella soap, generic witch hazel, and Stirling Black Pepper & Lime AS to finish!

Very nice shave this morning, about 95%+ BBS, no irritation. Both blades still feeling smooth though not properly sharp as a newer blade might feel. Still, the shave was good, so I press on!

This Stirling Pepper Lime is quite a nice and different pop of scent to what I normally have on!

Quiet morning otherwise, just me and the dogs.

Work was crazy yesterday, I was the only person on shift for the entire last half of closing. I got done adequately and on time though thankfully. The coworker who we gave the weekend off to, after a scheduling snafu in his favor, opted not to come into work yesterday either; he knows we could have used him though. Some people.

Back to to work this afternoon. A new hire (thank goodness!) starts this evening. He was supposed to have started over a week ago, but some mix up happened at the background check and it took over a week to process. It’ll be a whirlwind start for him, learning during a weekend of Upward chaos, but thankfully the job isn’t rocket science right?

Have a a great Friday all!
