Tonight’s shave I rock the letter T
And unlike some folks. I hold myself to the higher standard of only counting the words that start with the letter T:cool:

Got most of the stuff that I needed to get out of the shed today. Then relaxed and tried to get over the sense of loss. The pack rat in me finds it difficult to get rid of things.
My grandfather lived through the depression. On a farm. Nothing was wasted.
Put it to you this way. My wife doesn’t like the single ply paper that I got as “back up” just in case we ran out of the nice stuff.
My grandfather used pieces of corn cobb and when he was lucky. Pages from a Sears catalog when he was a kid. My dad grew up and was influenced by that way of thinking.
And I was brought up that being wasteful was a big time no no.
Got a new to me push mower. My old one I got from a scrap pile. Fixed the motor and have kept going for like 10 years. So I can’t just throw it away. Now it’s at work for anyone to take if they need one. Now my retard brain just is screaming at me that because I did that. The new one is going blow up. Welcome to my messed up world.
Have a great night guys.

Texcellent shave choices today Ken!

I have a hard time getting rid of stuff too, especially things that might not get used much but that I can imagine having a use or being needed at some point later.

Dear Ken (Abby)

I have cleaned my shed so many times and it still is a mess and hard to find things. When I clean my shed I just end up reorganizing the things I can't part with thinking I may need them at some point. When I am into a project and need something I think to myself, I have that in the shed but have no idea where it is and therefore end up buying what I need. It's an endless cycle. How can I break it ? I'm gonna go clean the shed again..................Thanks, it helped me talking this all thru It is "U" day ya know 🤪

This is some of us, haha.View attachment 21565
The absolute satisfaction from being able to use something I saved. For a current need/project. Is like main lining heroin for me. Euphoria. Except it doesn't happen but once or twice a year sometimes. Perfect example. When I needed to make a camera mount for my phone. To put videos up here. I used some 14-2 wire that I saved from a jobsite years ago.

@Dave in KY
I have come to the realization that the "cycle" usually continues. Even when we check out. Someone goes through our shed. Find a bunch of things they "need". They take it home. And spend the rest of their lives. Moving it around and reorganizing it. A lot of my stuff was acquired that way. That mower I spoke of. Was in a shed that got flooded during hurricane Sandy. 8 years ago. They wrote it and bunch of other stuff off. I've been using it ever since. Now I retired it. Because I got a much nicer one from a neighbor that was moving. And didn't need a mower.
Seriously watching that Hoarding show. While they are at the extreme end of the spectrum. I can relate to them in some way. And I use it as motivation to be more critical in my decisions on what to keep.
And I'll have to go up and see if I have a u item to use for tonight's shave.
Maybe I have something in the shed

I definitely get rid of a little more every time I go thru it. It became a throw all when caring for my better half going thru some health issues and when I let my bike go at the same time. I lost all caring about it's condition. I have incentive to make it more practical now for getting projects done and setting it up for the ensuing coffee roasting that will be done out there. We'll get there some day. 👍

So what are we talking about? And old crock pot and extension cord out to the shed? ;)
Hey, stop peaking at my plans....Got the same Roaster Bruce got for significant discount at $70. Another $30 has 3 pounds of coffee coming in 3 varieties to try. $100 so far. You know there's a whole thread on this info 😜

Okay so the people that tell you it saves you money are the ones selling the roasters? Right? ;)

The word to describe the shave. Decadent. The aroma of the soap. It's thick dense and slick lather. The purrtiness of the blade. The scent and menthol of the aftershave. Just was totally enjoyable.
Almost made me forget all the trips I made up and down the stairs to the basement. Getting it organized and de-cluttered. Gotta make room for my coffee roaster. :ROFLMAO: jk.
Hope all you guys had a good day.
Looks like @Patelliott has some great days ahead.
