Good weekend. Enjoyable Saturday with my friends down at the Synagogue. Only had to call for 1 ambulance. Soooo mission accomplished.
Sunday relaxed after I got done mulching up the leaves. Enjoyable couple of foot ball games to watch. Hope your guys Monday is going well.

Monday’s Shave

Touched up the Black Star on my Chinese PHIG.
Always forget how little product is needed with SV soaps so groundhog day’d the soap left over from yesterday.
Fluffy Industries Copper Edition Brush with I believe a 2bed knot that MaineYooper gifted me. Finished off with Nivea Deep.

Still haven’t come to a final conclusion on the PHIG hone. The edge it imparts is nice. As of now though I still would say that the edges I get off of my Trans Arkansas are nicer to use. We are talking slight differences. Hope all of you had a good Monday. And I’m sure you all know what today is correct?

Deluxe razor with a deluxe soap whipped and applied with a custom deluxe brush. And finished with a deluxe aftershave.
Could you end up with anything less than a deluxe shave. In this instance no.
Ready for Wednesday. My last workday of 2021.
Have some “use or lose leave”. And it goes against every fiber of my being to even consider giving any back to “tha man”.

Thanksgiving Shave

Good day today. Had the grandson and his parents over for the feast.
I made my patented candied yams and garlic mashed taters. The wife likes to do Cornish game hens instead of Turkey. She also made a pretty dang skippy chocolate mocha layer cake from scratch.
The shave with the Nano razor was nice. Tried out the Schick blades I got from my buddy MaineYooper. Nice blade but one little fiddly thing is it requires you to trim off a sliver on both ends of the blade. Or else the Schick blade stays bowed and can’t float on the catches that lock it into place.

Monday’s Shave with the Temperite Razor was a standard nice affair. The Sudsy Soapery Cola created a great protective lather.
Tabac Tuesday’s shave was interesting. After my first two shaves with the Schick blades caused some irritation. I switched to the one dot plate on the Nano. The Schick blade with three shaves on it did a nice job. No irritation or nicks. But it is now very mild and non efficient. Lots of extra work to get good results. No biggie but a few thousandths more blade exposure would be the ticket. As there is no 1-1/2 dot plate. It looks like for me the Schick blades are not the “perfect” blade in the Nano. Very good but not wow. The feather standard blade with the two dot worked well. As I rarely use my SE and DE razors. This magazine of Schicks will probably last me years.
Fluffy Industries is firing up the oven and trying some new bread recipes. And the brush division has a new model in the works. Stay tuned for the Hexagon Edition.
