Favorite CBL scents

I have most of his scents. Way too many favorites. But tops are: Dragons Blood, Roasted Oatmeal Stout, Insurgent, Ghost Lime, Patchouli, Santa Fe, and Oud Minerale or Agarwood Minerale. Many more favorites, but that’s just off the top of my head.

I just noticed that it says scents instead of scent lol. Iron Throne, Rosa Bourbonia and Black Rose Oud are up there as well.I'm sure Roasted Oatmeal Stout would be on the list as well, but I have yet to try it.

I'm kind of curious about the smokey mountain cedar & the bergamot & lemon.

Any other new scents I should look into as well?

I’m going to be honest, the Smokey mountain cedar is an awesome scent (flat out amazing) but the current release IS a rather light strength In comparison to other scents. The scent is enjoyable but not powerful.

California Sunrise by a wide margin.
Not new, but I don't see it talked about as much. @Smattayu is right ... California Sunrise is awesome. Orange, creaminess (vanilla maybe?), Lavender... It's a light, non-cloying smell. Great sweet summertime scent, imo.

This right here! Love that Chris continued to produce this scent. It's based on an (expensive) Amouage scent, Sunshine Man. Chris did a pretty darned good job replicating it. The creaminess scent you're getting is a combination Tonka Bean, Vanilla in the base and Immortelle (Everlasting Flower) and Orange Brandy up in the top notes.

BTW, I would recommend getting a sample of the cologne and trying it out. It's a power house EdP. You only need about 2 spritzes and it will last you over 12 hours with some pretty good projection. Don't use if you're about to get on a plane...from personal experience. Luckily I was doped up on some pretty good pain killers so didn't notice the complaints until later. lol

Others on my list would be SIR Fougere, Rosa Bourbonia, Club CBL, Banana/Pineapple/Cilantro are all good as well. Oud Minerale is also quite nice. I personally found the ROS a little heavy for my taste.

I didn't realize California Sunshine was back on the roster. It's one of the best scents of any soap I've used.
I actually avoid using it because I didn't think I could ever get more.

@Dagwoodz wasn't this one made at your behest?

This! I love the SMC scent. Absolutely recommend this one.

As stated (and quoted above), California Sunrise is awesome. I have the Tonsorial, which is a lighter scent strength. In my opinion, this is perfect strength for summer shaves (and it's definitely a summer scent). Not sure if the Premium is the same strength or a bolder blend. I definitely wouldn't do well with the Cologne. I don't wear colognes, but if I did, I certainly would want one that strong. Lol.

Rosa Bourbonia

What?! This isn't one in familiar with. An older or upcoming release? Based on the name, it's what... Bourbon and Rose? Very interesting.

I haven't used the Tonsorial, but can confidently say it's not too strong. The scent strength of the Premium is low to my nose, as are all of the CBLs that I've tried. I'm not a big fan of really strong soap scents either.
