yes, we still like to talk and vent.....Wait...this thread is still a thing?
Sorry to hear about your friend.I went to a friends Facebook page to see if he was home yet. He went into the hospital after I did and I had spoken to him a couple weeks ago. His fight did not end successfully. Had I checked yesterday I would have made his memorial service. They had trouble even getting a funeral home to come get him and they (the funeral home) insisted on cremation. He’s had COPD issues for years. But he was so strong, I couldn’t imagine this taking him down. Sorry guys. Just writing to get these thoughts out of my brain so I can sleep.

That is so sad to hear.I went to a friends Facebook page to see if he was home yet. He went into the hospital after I did and I had spoken to him a couple weeks ago. Same here. A couple of very distant acquaintances up to very recently. Found out last week a close colleague in NJ had just recovered, my team mate's father had it (later dying of non covid complications), and both my Uncle and Aunt in Spain. Aunt still in hospital and recovering but uncle died of pneumonia (we think. It's hard to tell if covid or not. Same end result)For months, I went without personally knowing anyone who was infected with symptoms. Then our next door neighbors both got it and fortunately recovered. Then a guy I’m working with (remotely so no contact) also tested positive and is feeling totally wiped out. It’s clearly getting worse and these vaccines can’t get here soon enough.
That’s tough to hear Rich. We were certainly very worried about you and your family, hearing stories about friends who didn’t fare so well is a stark reminder of what could have been or might be for others. All I know is I am thankful for and celebrate YOUR recovery and the recovery of those others who are in my circle ... I celebrate the wins I can because there are/will be hard losses to mourn. Did they have any after effect?Getting the Moderna vaccine this afternoon after work. A few colleagues have gotten it (Pfizer version) already. Not trying to start a vaccine discussion/debate, just adding to relevancy the thread.![]()
Sore arm the day after for both. One was pretty tired for a day. They received them on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Perfectly fine by day 2 afterwardDid they have any after effect?
