Let me just add to my post above.. I'm so glad we homeschool. I cant imagine making my kid do the things listed.

When asked what happens if there is a positive in a school. They said that basically send everyone home for 2 weeks and then open again.
Our state says in its paperwork concerning schools to " be prepared for when we shut schools down again" it doesn't say if but instead it says when because they even know we shouldn't be doing this..

Our state as a whole has the go ahead to open. But a lot are still doing distanced or only in person a few days a week. Here's our state's graph

Ouch!
Why do I feel like I'm driving in NASCAR, everyone's waiting for the crash.

Not even kind of.

FWIW, numbers in Maine are some of the best in the country. Not that different than ours, where things like service are opened up as well. But even if they were the worst in the country, any doubt cast is only because I don't want people, including you and yours getting sick.

It's not about who's right, or being right at any cost.

It's sad how people will tell themselves anything in order to delude themselves. I'm disturbed by how many of my friends are now saying things like, "Oh, I'm fine. That cold I had in January was probably COVID." Even though I specifically asked them months ago if they'd had any sicknesses in the previous 6 months and they said no. Maybe that cold was COVID, maybe it wasn't. Either way, they still need to be careful. This isn't even close to being over.
