Aftershave2: Aqua Velva Balm

Well today I grabbed the Ghost Dragon Blood, I don't know what Dragons blood is supposed to smell like but this smells awesome and I really like it alot. This one also seemed to get colder than the Ghost Lime. The shave today went real well. I did get one small bite on the chin but all is good. It stopped bleeding pretty quickly.

Well I took the day off work today. Getting the internet installed today looking forward to having some faster internet. I did record my shave and that will be my test if the new internet is working well. So hopefully you see it today and not tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great day!

Well went for a nice Speick shave today, and September is coming to an end. I need to do at least one more Speick shave so that should be easy to squeeze in. Crazy how fast the year is going. Nothing really to tell ya that people don't know about this soap. It rocks and that is all!

Busy week coming up. Work we have a huge planning event today and tomorrow, and then starting tomorrow I have football wednesday thru saturday. Doesn't help that my wife is doing her parent teacher conferences at work so yesterday and today I am also playing Mr. Mom. So just feel like I am running 100 MPH this week. Trying to stay up to speed as best I can at TSC but I might fall a tiny bit behind sadly. But I have a plan LOL. Anyways hope you all have a great Tuesday!

You're going to pay your kids to read the forums and let you know when there's something interesting, aren't you?

All caught up, Chad.

....Crazy how fast the year is going.....

And it keeps going faster, and faster, and faster.

BTW, last week, I was deadheading back to the ATL and had an interesting conversation with the gentleman sitting next to me. Guess what he does? Refs college football games!

Great shave Chad. I have yet to break out the Speick this year, and really need to get on the ball with it.

Thanks Chris for reading. That's cool you met another official. What conference was he in?

Better idea. Mine has to read for 30 minutes each night for homework. that could be it and i wouldn't have to pay

Smart!

Well ya better get the Speick out!

Well this morning I reached for a soap that I haven't used in awhile and I have no good reason for not using it. I really enjoy the SV and the 70th is a fantastic scent. With the push of artisan soap makers as of late I have not used this soap in awhile. It is still just as great as ever, surprising me in post shave feel, but referring back to my spreadsheet that seems to be a common theme with SV soaps. Anyways good results and ready for the day.

Nothing crazy to report. The cold air is finally settling in. In the morning the temps are about 45 degrees and it is finally feeling like fall. Ready for the football game today! Have a great one cadre!

I love SV soaps! but then again I love to shave and love almost everything that goes with it, except Night Music I HATE that soap.

Well today was the last of Speick usage of the month. What a fun little stick this is. I really enjoy the soap and get great results, the aftershave is also fantastic. The shave today went very well no complaints here. The General continues to just provide a very good boring shave, and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Well it tend to happen at least once a year. And this year it has now happened twice. There was another really bad injury last night that required the kid to leave the field in ambulance. So buckle up those squeamish looks.

LITERALLY the first play of the game. We are on the kick off, and I am in my position, and my job is to watch that the blocks are being set up legally. Well as the kicking team is running down a player about 15 yards away from any other player just has his legs buckle under him. Non-contact injury... these are usually the worst! Once the play is dead I call in the onsite medical crew, and the coaches. As they are watching I explain what I saw. This poor kid is clearly in pain. The onsite trainer stands up and walks away a little and says, "I think both ACLs snapped." Literally this kid is on the ground in pain and both his knees are loose and he thriving in pain. Coach says, "he just got back from high ankle sprain this week." The ambulance wasn't on site yet, as this is a JV game and sometimes they are there other times they are not. So the phone call was made, and when they go there, they finally got him some morphine, and put the air casts around both legs. So sadly the game started with a 40 minute delay. I am assuming the kid will need surgery. The rest of the game went well, and was very competitive. But the first quarter was really boring and kind of a bore. I think it took awhile for both teams to get back into the game.

Well back at it today.

Have a good one cadre!

Yikes. My daughter tore her ACL 5 minutes into a basketball game last year, no contact. It just happens, and it sucks. She’s still in recovery with physical therapy.
