Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

I had a sample of that a while back.... way too rosey for me. I didn't find it subtle at all.

Well today was N shave for the theme as I was day behind. So it was the Nivea Cream. This is a good cream that I have had for awhile now and is actually my second tube of the stuff. If you see this at a great price I recommend picking it up. The last few days have all been Injector shaves and I will be back to the bad blade reviews tomorrow.

Well with how busy our weekends have been lately it has proven more and more difficult to keep up to date on everything around here once Friday hits. Friday was my niece's birthday which was a nice day at the park. Saturday I was up early to go pick up the Wilkinson Sword 7 day set before the oil change and other scheduled maintenance on my wife's van, then we got the trailer out and got everything ready to go camping as we leave this thursday, then it was a dinner before the Alabama concert. Yesterday after services we decided to go to the zoo and it was the perfect day. Not too hot and was not that crowded which made it more enjoyable. Anyways playing catch up as I can. Hope you all have a great day!

Sounds like a nice weekend Chad. I'll have to keep an eye for the Nivea cream. Haven't seen it at the local drug store, but they do carry a lot of other Nivea men's products.

Great time spent with family sounds like! How was the concert this time?

This was the second time I have seen the band Alabama. It was a very good show. We had a great time. But they played more songs the last time I saw them so I preferred that show.

Well had a great shave today, with a blade that is made by Personna. Unfortunately I don't own any Chambers soaps yet, so I am going to take the rest of the month to finish off this cream, if it lasts that long, with the cap being broken I fear it will dry completely out if I don't use it.

Nothing crazy to report. Yesterday after work got the trailer plugged in, and turned on the fridge so we can work on slowly packing everything up before we leave Thursday afternoon to head up to the mountains for a long weekend. The kids are very excited that the trailer is out, and as are we. We long to camp and it's a great way to spend time as a family without the distractions of cell phones, computers, and TVs. Looking forward to some R&R. I honestly haven't even decided if i'll bring shave gear on this trip. Kind just want to find a tree, sit under it read a book and drink some beer. I'm bringing the fly rod also as we will be near a river and I might want to catch trout to throw in the fire for dinner one night. Really looking forward to unplugging for a bit. Hope you all have a great day!

Understand the unplugged and encourage it but 1 shave by the stream on video for Junes stunt shave would be nice too......just saying

Probably depends how fast the river is flowing. We had an extremely wet winter, and it might be too fast to even fish in let alone deal with the sound issues. We shall see. I will most likely bring some gear.

Have a nice trip! It is nice to unplug for a bit :)
Good recommendation for Nivea, sensitive is the only one I can use. Others give me skin reaction. And can get one from sensitive as well if used every day. We had a reformulation few years ago, now it has hamamelis, but feels same to me.

Well today was another good shave. I have about 5 shaves left of the Proraso I believe then I am considering using up another cream, I fear that these will eventually dry up and I would hate to have to throw any away. I have a tube of Proraso Green, LEA, Nivea, and Palmolive. All are nice creams but I have had them a long time and don't want them to waste.

Well got the lawns mowed yesterday before the storms hit, it has been hot in the day and cool at night which is nice. Looking at the weather forecast for camping it looks like we will get high 60s and then low 40s high 30s. So might have to run the heater in the tent trailer for the kids to stay warm. But at least it will be a comfortable weekend. I will work a few hours in the morning tomorrow and then head home so we can head out. The camp ground is two hours away and we can't check in until 3PM so all is good. Hope you all have a great day.
