And... I'm lost

Sounds like a fun evening ahead! Enjoy! Does your family usually go to the games you officiate?

If the weather is nice and the school is close they have attended a few football games. And if the school is close they have been to a few basketball games. Last year I was asked to officiate the Harlem Wizards they are part of the Globetrotters think B team. They go to local high schools to raise money. That was a fun event and a great cause I really enjoyed that. I got free tickets for my family. They told us to wear shorts under our pants and "loose" pants. My son thought it was pretty neat when one guy jumped over me, and another pantsed me. LOL

Your life just doesn't slow down Chad! Kudos to you!

Thanks Don, sometimes I wish it would lol.

Wow you’re a busy man! Bummer about the scent. Hopefully they have something else in your wheelhouse since it was a good performer.

The Harlem Wizards were at my step son’s school when he was about 8 or 9. It was a really good time. Not quite as good as the Globetrotters, but still really cool.

Thanks for reading. I think I recall talking to you about the Harlem Wizards at the other place.

Thanks for the heads up on the passaround. Man you are a busy guy. Hope you get a minute to yourself.

Thanks Tom

Well sitting here relaxing sipping some coffee, waiting to head out in the snow. But first my shave. The shave was average, but the soap is awesome! This scent is fantastic. Rod did a great job on this one. It is a rendition of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, and it will produce a rich brown lather. The aftershave is nice and strong and I am loving it. I really dig the smaller size offering too, I wish more artisans did this.

I am going to try and re-organize my den here soon, when I do it I will take pictures.

Homefront:

Took the day off, it is my son's Christmas program today at school. He has been running around singing away in a manger for weeks now. He attends a Catholic school so christian Christmas music is the standard. It is also snowing today but is supposed to be a fast moving storm. About two weeks back my wife got a nail in her back right tire. Well yesterday when pulling in the garage I saw something in the back left... a screw. Thankfully it is not leaking but I do want to get it removed so a trip to the tire store is in order later today also. UGH! Anyways hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday. I will be behind and not on much today.

Good shave! I was looking forward to someone reviewing Haverford, since it was the bingo prize. Sounds like a winner scent!

Bummer about the tires. Life interruptions suck! Hope the Christmas performance is fun though! Go Connor!

My wife is afflicted with the multiple tire nail/screw issue also. It seems whenever there is a nail in one, there is always another soon to follow!

In my opinion, that 3oz soap in the 4oz tub is about perfect. It's small enough, that us horders could actually use it up in our lifetime, yet is large enough to actually lather out of te tub with anything other than a travel brush. I do not like the 3oz tubs.

That stinks about the tires. The last time I had a nail in a tire they wouldn’t plug it and I actually had to replace it. They said it was too close to the shoulder of the tire and wouldn’t be safe.

On the the bright side, you got to use a great soap and then get to go watch your son rock some Christmas tunes!

I am trying to read some of the Shave Journals here and there and look what I find. The man who led me to this den of iniquity getting pantsed in public. Ha ha.

When did the Stirling Haverford appear for sale? I don’t see it offered on their website. Was it a one-off?

Thanks Chris. This is a great scent. I woke up this morning and could STILL smell the aftershave. This might be the LONGEST lasting aftershave I have ever used.

So annoying. But thankfully it was in a spot that was easily repaired.

I 100% agree. This the perfect amount of soap and the perfect container size.

Thanks and yes I am glad it was repairable. The Christmas program was awesome!

Hey man I aim to please.

Nice shave and enjoy the Christmas program!

Thanks! It was a great program.

Like Dave mentioned it was a Black Friday special. Fingers are crossed it gets a permanent debut.

Alright well today was the first use finally of this CBL soap, the Old Norse. It is supposed to be a rendition of Creed Viking, I have no idea what that is supposed to smell like, but I did enjoy the scent it is very nice, a good cologne scent. The shave was not good today, the blade is not good. You can read about it in my bad blade series.

We had a nice day yesterday as a family. Really enjoyed Connor's Christmas program, and then we just relaxed a bit and opted to go see Ralph Breaks the Internet. That was a fun movie very enjoyable. Have a good day Cadre
