Fantastic Shave today with SV, Cubebe is a perfect scent for cooler weather. (Video posted)
At the Ranch: Cool day only in the 50's, possible rain tonight, and cool 30's for a low maybe even a flake or two. A couple of in-town errands and Pizza and chicken wings for dinner. The fireplace will get its use tonight. Some Laundry, and home stuff as welll

A break in the "Italian Shave Weeks" theme today thanks to the shave by @MarkB . Seemed like a good day to bring our the "namesake" for a shave. The Original. with notes of Fresh Citrus, Cucumber, floral Jalapeno, Leather, suede, gunpowder, with final note of Terra Cotta, and dried Russian Thistle ( Tumbleweed). Truly a trip down the Boardwalk of Tombstone.
This was the 1st collaboration with @CBLSoap.com , followed by a nod to Clint Eastwood, with Spaghetti Western, which added a touch if Italy to the Hombres Original.
On Whisker duty today was the Otto Roth New ( later purchased by Gillette). This long comb razor is nice and aggressive, but oh some smooth with the Personna Lab Blue. Topping off this "Old West" Themed shave is the Cholla brush with a real Cholla Cactus Skeleton at it's heart
All in all a Fantastic Shave. Thanks @MarkB for the reminder
AT THE RANCH: Another cool day, with not a bunch to do, go get some doggie food for the pooches, maybe some Poke, and wash the car. Supposed to warm up to the mid- 80's this week with lows in the 40's... Just perfect, before another cool down.
BREAKING NEWS:
Sometime in 2025, the 3rd in the Series of Soaps / aftershaves in collaboration with @CBLSoap.com, and Hombres Barbershop will be "Doc Holliday". As you can imagine, all the goodness of Hombres, with a touch of Class, and infamous character of the Legendary Gun fighter, gambler and Gentleman Dentist. We are working on scent profiles, but take the original, add some aged gaming table felt, smoke, some slight hints of a dentist office, and of course Georgia Peach, where Doc Holliday was from. Very excited for this release and will advise to final notes, and when it will be available. Another Hombres Barbershop Exclusive!

I love the scent of the original Hombres....and I also love the Spaghetti Western version. But after I use the 2.0 version....a quick sniff of the original reminds me that its really is so very good.
Of course...i'll be looking forward to the Doc Holliday version. Are we getting a Johnny Ringo version? It should have a great big hole, right in the middle of it . You could call it "Just Foolin' About".

Great shave today. The SV Felce Aromatica his second only to English fern in a true fern Fougier in my honest opinion, much sharper and deeper than English ferns softness, but just absolutely fantastic
The Gillette super adjustable black beauty was brought out of archives and thinking of Ed today
Finished off with just the aftershave and some talc
