Had no intention of shaving today, since I shave at 1730 hrs last night, but that would be bad form, and a not intended Hobo Day. With Errand day and a nice lunch ( due to gift cards ) planned with the Boss, everyone needs to see how lucky she is to have such a catch of youthful and gentlemanly looks with her. ( OK Dave was into the EggNog this morning)
Although I have another Week off, the body is slowly re-acclimating to early rising ( Sucks ) so I was up at 0430 and could not force myself back to sleep and with a grumbly Lyka having stolen the covers it was time to get up.
The Noble Otter Hamam is literally a spa in a soap and aftershave, just glorious. The Sorrentino on lather duty, and the vector on removal, although not much, and all the other characters, finishing with Savoy Steam by Pen's 1-pass would have been enough, but the 3-pass ritual was followed and the results were Porcelain Smooth.

A very "Fine" shave today with the Tedalus, Paladin, American Blend and the GOAT Rive Gauche. An early shave but a late posting, getting the hang of the New Drone, Santa Brought me for Christmas.

12.31.2025 Final Shave of 2025
Well after some drone flight tests this morning, and after reading one of our new members threads on Schick @wchnu , I figured why not. I had not shaved with this injector in quite some time. Slid a new blade in and away we went. Wanted something with a Neutral fragrance for both the soap and aftershave, so I could get the Full Fragrance force of the Ferrari Noble Fig. That was a good Choice for a rainy cold cloudy end to 2025.
Sorrentino's Black & White Ebony Barzini was on duty to lather the MWF, and did a great job. Realized I sliced my lip pretty good yesterday, so navigating the Schick around that was fun, and in the end a very nice DSBBS shave with No cleanup needed.
Some Talc, and vasilli's of Noble Fig, and ready for NOT going out, Pizza and Wings for our gourmet meal, as we did not do our normal Caviar/Belini /Charcuterie, and decided Pizza, beer and Wings. For our New Years Day feast we will be having Bologna, tomato and cheese sandwiches, with potato Chips and either potato salad or MAc Salad.
This way we are Anti-Bougie, and all our meals from there will only be better, like the rest of 2026!

Fantastic Shave to begin 2026. Floris always is impressive, and No.89 is perfect for a cold rainy day. The hints of nutmeg are warming as is the overall fragrance of the soap / AS / EDT. The Korn D7 Rootbeer on lather duty, and the Boker on removal provided a nice DSBBS shave.
At the Ranch:
Cold, cloudy, and rainy to begin the year. A nice soaking rain is exactly what we needed, not to heavy. Perimeter lights coming down today, between showers, and thankfully with the Govee lights on the house, no need to removes those, just need to decide what color to use until the next holiday. Although being a pain to put up, these lights will get a ton of use, from Security, to all Holidays.
Hope your New Year is starting fantastic.

A few things out of the Archives today, including Mystic Water Jasmine Shave Soap, and the Jerry Stark Ferrari Concept Razor. This 6/8 beast stays in the Garage most of the time, as it is unwieldy, and a bear to strop, due to it width. Nevertheless, it was called on to the track today.
The original concept for this Razor came from this:
Jerry Stark did a great job of capturing the lines, wheels, Carbon Fiber and Color. The Brush, by Matt DeRuiter, was also done for the Tifosi, and was the original inspiration for doing a Ferrari Razor. Mystic Water Jasmine is my favor of her line, and provided a great surface for the Stark to drift around on. 3-passes DSBBS. Finished off the Ferrari Inspired shave with the Ferrari Edt, Radiant Bergamot. The pit crew of Quinn's, Nivea Deep, and Talc finished everything off.
At the Ranch:
All Christmas lights are down, except for the permanent house lights, and some more drone flight tests today, before heading our for a night of Carne Asada, Mango Habanero Chicken and Dominos at some friends Casa. All in all a Good Saturday.
