Good morning, Cadre. An early shave because I was out the door doing a couple errands. One was meeting a friend at Starbucks, so I had a chocolate chip cookie for my troubles. It’s 53F/12C going up to 61F/16C later, and rainy all day. Oh well, it’s not all bad. Our sons are gathering here for dinner tonight for Chinese takeout, as tomorrow is our youngest’s 29th birthday. And Sheri is baking a cake. 🎂 🥳

Happy Thursday, Cadre. It’s a mostly sunny 71F/22C day here. Hope you’re enjoying yourselves. Sam @woodpusher inspired me to use up my only tube of cream, so I reached for it today. No cushion to speak of, but it has decent glide from the lanolin. A very mild smell which doesn’t cause my wife distress. Plus Borax!

Good day, Cadre. It’s a cloudy, chilly 55F/13C here today. Not a fun day - went to a funeral home visitation for a friend, and this evening I’ll be chairing a meeting he’d normally attend, so his absence will be felt. Asi es la vida.

Good afternoon, Cadre. It’s a glorious day here: sunny and 72F/22C. I hope you’re enjoying your day. Many of you inexplicably continue to miss the semiweekly Zoom meetings. For a sampler of what was discussed last night, the topics ranged from straight razors, Sumo wrestling, bad EVs, yard work, concealed carry, responsible gun ownership, and personal protection. As a responsible gun owner myself, I was keenly interested in the latter three topics. As you can plainly see, there is a little bit of everything, so be there for the next one in two weeks. Topics to be covered WILL be on the final exam. Fair warning, my friends. 🫵🏼
